Today: departing Oklahoma City at 10:00am for an easy day's drive after visiting w/Aunt Jane, Janette & Susan the day before, and, heading for
Hot Springs AR... but wait... before we leave Oklahoma City... must drive by my grandparent's (my mom's parents) house where I spent a
LOT of time as a yut (youth), and, since I don't know if or when I'll ever be in front of 2524 NW 23rd Street again, or, if I am
if the house would still be there, a few photos that are all pretty much the same if you please.

~ "SAFE DRIVING AWARD" ~I've been told by a friend who is a highway patrol officer "if you are only going 7mph over the speed limit then no one will mess with you."
I've also been told WRT speeding by a metropolitan police officer "8 and you're great, 9 and you're mine."
Sooooo... I'm in the fast lane w/cruise control set on 78mph... see highway patrol officer parked in median... just cruise on by... oops...
"The reason I pulled you over is because you were going a little fast, 78 in a 70, driver's license and registration papers please."

What could have been better? Wi-Fi workd but was slooooow
Most important to us is cleanliness - A+ on that, next in importance we liked the price,
the HARD (really high) king bed was GREAT for our backs, and other things we appreciated were breakfast
included in room rate, cable TV, free Wi-Fi and location; would stay here again.

S: shrimp,brocolli,backed potatoe,salad,biscuit,hot tea
R: fried cat fish,French fried okda,green beans,salad,biscuit,root beer
& had to buy flamingo pajammas in gift shop
