he was a friend of dad's who eventially split from Westinghouse with Mr. Dashiel, also of Westinghouse, to form Dashiel Corporation which built substations for electrical power companies, viz., Houston
Lighting & Power (aka by dad as Houston Lamp And Pole Company) and I worked for Dashiel Corp. for a while part time while attending
the University of Houston doing wiring and component assembly in substation control cabinets, and as for Donna Sue - never dated her
although she was cute enough and I knew her through out ALL my youth)] [1200dpi]
[DIGRESSION: while working at Dashiel Corp I came to know a field technitian who got confined to the shop for 3 months - he was playing basket ball, running down court, slamed his foot down to come to a
quick stop and broke a bone in the arch of his foot, doctor put him in a cast and said normally this would be a 6 week cast, however, because this bone was previously fractured and still in the process
of mending the cast must remain for 3 months for the interrupted mending to resume and satisfactorally complete - bummer.]
