30JAN12: 1966 Pontiac Executive Hardtop Coupe (don't remember if the Star Chief designation is on this car)
455 CID V8 rated at 370 hp, three-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic, (relatively) new paint, needs help... car sadly has been parked for some years now... need to retrieve from its home away from home and clean it up... athough not actually for sale (sentimental value), might consider selling (only so I could have the cash to get an old ford pickup)...
The Star Chief/Executive was the low-priced trim level for the full-size Pontiac line.
The mid-priced, full-size Pontiac was the Catalina.
The high-priced top-of-the-line model was the Bonneville
The premium model the Grand Prix (the Grand Prix became a mid-size model in 1969).
The Pontiac Executive was produced by the Pontiac Motor Division of General Motors from 1967 to 1970, the Executive replaced Pontiac's long running mid-range Star Chief, beginning for 1966 when all Pontiacs in this range were named Star Chief Executive for this one year only, before the series became simply the Executive for 1967.
Executives featured more deluxe trim, more standard amenities and a longer wheelbase and overall length than the lower-priced Catalina models, but were not quite as luxurious as the top-line Bonneville, whose wheelbase and other dimensions the Executive shared.
Mechanically, the Executive was virtually identical to the Catalina, sharing similar standard and optional V8 engines starting with the base 400 CID V8 with two-barrel carburetor rated at 265 hp (198 kW), and ending with a 390 hp 428 CID HO V8 through 1969 and a larger 455 CID V8 rated at 370 hp (276 kW) in 1970. The standard transmission each year was a three-speed manual with column shift, with a floor-mounted four-speed with Hurst shifter optional in 1967 and 1968. However, 98 percent of Executives were equipped with the three-speed Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic during the model's four year run.
Executives were available as a four-door pillared sedan, two-door hardtop coupe, four-door hardtop sedan, and Safari station wagons in two and three-seat versions. The Executive Safari wagons differed from the Catalina and Bonneville Safari wagons by featuring simulated wood paneling. No Executive convertibles were offered.
Through its four years, the Executive was the lowest-volume full-size Pontiac; the Executive was replaced for 1971 by the new Catalina Brougham.

12JUL11: Custom Sportster - $12,000.00, FIRM
Custom Sportster, FL transmission, fresh build by White Mike, owner of Orangevale Choppers (formerly American Motorcycle Service Specialaties)
"The motor is a 1965 900cc XL motor which I built, so it is sound with maybe two miles on it. (test ridden up the street & back - no tags ya know). The tranny is in excellent condition with a freshen up at the same time I did the motor, it is a ratchet lid big twin 4 speed; Basically from the seat post back it is a Panhead chassis and forward it is a Sportster. I cut the original XL tranny housing off of the motor, welded on big twin style motor mount blocks to the back of the case so it bolts in at the back of the motor like a big twin and in front it bolts in like a Sportster. This whole project is a total one off build. I had to fabricate the belt pulley at the motor to be able to match-up the drive train w/ a big twin transmission. The result is a very good drive ratio (tall gears), light enough to still pull very good off the line yet has an excellent highway gear ratio to sustain cruising speeds consistent with bigger bikes. I used a late model rear brake system and most of the rest of the components like seat, foot boards, forward controls and taillight are pure one-of-a-kind fabrication. The headlight is an old Chevrolet, all brass 9" bucket that I modified to accept Halogen lighting. The horn is off some old truck, and even though it is electric, as opposed to air, it is obscenely loud."

The LTC 0355 series are compact rugged, 1/3-inch image format digital monochrome CCD cameras. Their superior sensitivity and resolution provide optimal performance in virtually all environments.
This fully automatic camera has been tested and is ready to work; easy to install in even the most demanding applications. On-screen Displays (OSD) provide quick and easy access to all camera features.
The LTC 0355 cameras also come with a lens wizard that automatically detects the type of lens installed. An OSD guide that allows the installer to easily adjust the lens level and focus without special tools or filters.
