... Mike spent some time at Fort Bragg... |
... Pedro's South of the Border is on Interstate 95 and US Highway 301/501 in Dillon, South Carolina,
just south of Rowland, North Carolina... well... did go in to the Mexico Shop West and walk around for a while...
... it's a reeeeeally big shop... and... we found serape ponchos and serape blanket vests... |
... been in lots of import stores looking for these and not finding any and on-line looking for these
and prices are outrageous, like $40 to $220, for example... |
... and, the ones here were veeeeery reasonably priced here... got one of each...
South of the Border website: thesouthoftheborder.com...
unfortunately they do not have on-line shopping, soooooo, saddle up and head east Bucko... |
... there's little palm trees over there that you can see in the edge of the woods...
they're all over the south; years ago, like 1950, my dad dug one or two up to take home and
plant... dont recall any after that... maybe it lived, maybe it dint... anyway... there's some
over there... really... |
... finally... there's some of those little palm trees that are obvious... |
