ROAD TRIP: to Peru IN, with possibility of
- HD Museum in Milwaukee, time permitting
- visiting national parks on way home, time permitting
WHY???
In 2000 Sharon sold her and Dave's house to Tamra,
but in 2008 Tamra returned the house in oder to
share a house with new old man
and in 2008 Sharon made a really good offer to...
Emilly Darnell, daughter of Jackie, daughter of
Sharon's Aunt Betty,
namely, $3000 down and live there without making
payments while in school,
then, after graduation begin making payments...
$3000 paid, and then... after years of pleading...
Emilly signed a contract, and then...
and then...
nothing... no calls... no letters... no contact...
until...
about six weeks ago...
Bob of Peru Police Department Code Enforcement
sends Sharon a letter stating that the Logan Street
residence must be cleaned up or the city will clean
it up and sue Sharon for the incurred cost, dumpster
recommended.
Sharon contacted Bob and relatives in Peru in an
attempt to find out what was up...
- roumer: windows busted out
- roumer: basement was flooded
- roumer: Emilly moved out eight months ago
- roumer: copper stripped from house for scrap
- roumer: the neighbors have been hasseling Emily
making it impossible for her to live there
- fact: electricity was not discontinued until May 2012
- fact: days old fast food in house upon our arrival
- fact: excessive garbage, city will no longer pick
it up
- fact: Emilly convicted of Sexual Misconduct With A
Minor on 19JAN12
- fact: well, suspect, the judge informed Emilly of
law prohibiting living near a school
- school at end of street, about six houses away...
- house is too close!
- Old neighbor Sharon & Dave knew said police were
at the house nightly, sometimes two and three times!
- New neighbor took pictures, gave to police, of Emilly
stealing from Good Will deposite site
- police did nothing
- Next door neighbor wanted redwood fence sections back
that Emilly took from his yard for use in her yard
- Next door neighbor wanted firewood back... none found...
fire pit in back yard found...

Echo Canyon
Upon reaching Echo Canyon, the freeway follows the canyon east until the Wyoming state line near Evanston.
The portion through Echo Canyon follows the historical routes of the Mormon Trail, U.S. Route 30S and the
First Transcontinental Railroad. A rest area in the canyon at mileage marker 170 (just east of the separation with
Interstate 84), has signs pointing out features in the canyon that were obstacles in the canyon for both
the Mormon pioneers and the construction workers of the railroad, including Pulpit Rock, which was partially
demolished when the railroad was converted to double track.
