First of all there were two letters the first was on Mr Hiroshima's letterhead
signed by sponsoring dealer Mgmt. accusing Dina of problems with club checking
account. She was treasurer at the time. The letter threatened legal action
against us.
I contacted Mr Hiroshima he was surprised to hear about first letter he did not
authorize. During that phone call I told not to ever send a threat send a
subpoena that is when it stopped.
Howdy Steve, et al,
HOLY SMOKES STEVE! I was not aware of the "first letter." Sorry to hear about
that one, neither Sharon nor I remember hearing about that before (it's hell
getting old, I have trouble remembering from yesterday, much less from 5 years
ago)... reckon that was enough to ruin that day! Interesting that it would
have been signed by the sponsoring dealer Mgmt instead of Mr. Hiroshima -
yeah... I'll bet he was surprised! If I had to guess I would guess that Jason
signed it... what a jerk he was, and, I have always suspected him of being the
one, or, one of the key players, or, at least the agitator, who instigated the
disbanding of the "other club" and all the grief to the "other club" members
and the sponsoring dealer Mgmt. Well... you just gotta have faith...
"vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord"... and "what goes around comes around."
With respect to lawyers, I truly believe that law schools have at least 2 years
of courses with a benign name such as "Principals of Litigation 101, 102, 201,
202" or "Extended Litigation 101, 102, 201, 202" in which students aspiring to
be ars holes pettifoggers are taught ways of interacting with the opposing
attorney in such a manner as to maximize time spent and number of court
appearances for a case for the purpose of separating as much money as is
possible at the time and in the future from both attorney's clients.
I know a dude who lives in "the forest" (that's what the locals call the
community on the "17 mile drive" in Monterey (which is like trying to navigate
a spider web)), he used to own a Volvo dealership and several used car lots all
of which led him to the point of saying every morning as he got up - "what can
I do today to stay out of court?"
Yuuup, avoid lawyers, they are expensive and... [you fill in the rest].
