36o when departing from homestead for the "SOCIAL EVENT" - The Breakfast Club -
the Savory Cafe, 722A Main St. Woodland, with additional parking behind the Cafe and a
rear entrance thru the courtyard. Good grub, and then... was a good day to enjoy the
almond blossoms in Capay Valley on an after breakfast ride... PeteC led the group (PeteC,
SteveB, MarthaB, DaniM, MartinC, SharonH & RuslH) out Main Street to 16, keep right
onto County Road 94b (MartinC never made the keep right???), left on County Road 19, left on
County Road 87, right on 16 in Esparto, and out 16 to Cashe Creek Casino for push water,
then on to Cashe Creek Canyon Regional Park; from there SteveB led the group back down 16
to the Capay Junction Saloon for refreshments. PeteC left early to go get KathyC and go
back out to Cashe Creek Canyon Regional Park for a picnic; SteveB led us back to the
puppies featured on the FREE
page near Plain Field Station, where he and MarthaC both liked different puppies... well... no way to get one home
on the bike... we expect to find out at the general meeting Thursday night which puppy they
chose and what it's name is...
